Desire and the Bridge You Must Burn

Iʼm Cameron Omega. Iʼm an abstract painter and graphic designer, born and based in Fort Wayne, IN. My medium of choice is paint and markers on canvas. I use a two part process of planned line sketching and in the moment color grounds to give a complex mix of feelings to each piece. I like to describe my style of abstract work as “Metamodern Abstract Minimalism” or in more simple terms “Indirect Earnestness”. I use my work as a means to better help me understand myself, but i would also like the viewer to use each piece as a mirror to investigate themself. Each work is a representation of my feels, thoughts, and ideas of my life. I hope you see yourself in my work and it helps you find a better understand of yourself.
